Apex Legends has between 8 and 10 million players every week

It is estimated that between 8 and 10 million players a week connect to Apex Legends, everything seems to be thanks to the arrival of the second season.

To date, no one has managed to snatch the supremacy of Fortnite in the field of Battle Royale. Being free, there is no Pay-to-Win and constant updates have elevated it and no one has dethroned it. Apex Legends was close to achieving it, but it was not possible. At its peak, EA's game garnered about 50 million players a month, but that's far behind.

Although Apex Legends no longer has the same popularity, it still has a large audience. Currently the game has between 8-10 million weekly players, which is between 35 and 40 million players. Logically they are much less than the users of Fortnite or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, but it is a brutal figure.

Apex Legends still has a large audience

It is not easy to compare it with games like Fortnite or PlayerUnknown's, because they are not public, but even so the audience is larger. The Electronic Arts game is one of the most important on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Respawn Entertainment has managed to make a great game, which generates a lot of money. They are currently working on an adaptation of it for smartphones to increase profitability.

It was in early July that Apex Legends released season two, much later than expected. Fortnite is already working to launch its tenth season. EA's game implements a new improved progression system to entice players to spend money.

Respawn is already working on the game's third season, aiming to catch up and improve upon the competition. It needs to update to the same level as Fortnite , which is one of the game's main draws. If they can increase the pace of updates and deliver quality content, they might just be able to recover and gain popularity.
