Steam: Best-selling games from July 29 to August 4

Steam has released the best-selling games last week. It is surprising that titles such as NieR: Automata or accessories of its Virtual Reality system are on the list.

Valve just released the list of Steam's best-selling games last week. A list that may seem of little importance to many, but seeing these lists on a regular basis gives us an idea of which games are popular on the largest platform in the world and thus see what really succeeds on PC.

Best sellers on Steam from July 29 to August 4

  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS
  • Valve Index VR Kit
  • Survivor Pass 4: Aftermath
  • Oxygen Not Included
  • NieR: Automata
  • Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition
  • Valve Index Headset + Controllers
  • Total War: THREE KINGDOMS
  • The Elder Scrolls Online - Crown Packs

In the first two places we see undeniable giants: Grand Theft Auto V which has a long history of constantly selling copies to new console and PC players, this time aided by the appearance of the GTA Online casino; and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the battle royale that started the craze; along with a pack of skins.

You can also see how immensely popular Steam's proprietary Virtual Reality is becoming, possibly supported with the release of Tetris Effect on the Epic Store, which curiously lets you use Steam VR. Fallout 4 in its full version is there, proving that people prefer a game from almost four years ago to Fallout 76. Total War had another important launch for the PC strategy community with its installment based on The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Oxygen not Included finally came out of Early Access ... And for some reason, NieR Automata is on that list even though the game is standard in a not very optimal state in terms of optimization on PC.
