Plague Inc. is withdrawn by the Government of China in full hysteria over the coronavirus

The hot topic right now is the coronavirus. The hysteria regarding this disease it is overcoming any possible logic. We can find hundreds of hoaxes and nonsense on the net about this disease whose origin is in China. Plague Inc. is a Steam game that has become very popular due to this disease, especially in China, from where it has been withdrawn.

Ndemic Creations, the game's developer, has removed the title from the Chinese app store. As they have indicated, they do so because the game "contains content that is illegal in China as determined by the China Cyberspace Administration." It seems that the Chinese administration is not very happy with the game in question

Plague Inc. retired in China

From the study they indicate that "it is not clear whether the elimination of Plague Inc. is related to the current coronavirus outbreak." Man, if it's white, it's bottled, it smells like milk and tastes like milk, it's not water. Note that the game released in 2012 had limited popularity, but since the arrival of the coronavirus, sales have skyrocketed.

In addition, the developers emphasize that they will seek to "contact the administration" as soon as possible. They want to know what is violating their title and how to correct it so that it becomes available to everyone again. A logical concern for developers Plague Inc., since China has a very important potential market.

Plague Inc

We are very sad to announce that Plague Inc. has been removed from the China App Store. This is completely out of our control and we are working to find a way to bring the game back to our players in China.

Hysteria regarding this disease may also have a lot to do with it. We see how masks or disinfectant gels run out or escalate in price to the beast due to an uncontrolled demand.
