PlayStation Now will arrive in Spain in the coming months

The beta will reach Spanish users throughout the month of February. It will allow us to play through streaming on PC or PS4 numerous games from PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 by paying a rental for each title. We can sign up for the beta ahead of its launch in the coming months.

PlayStation Now is one of the many services offered by Sony Computer Entertainment within its PlayStation ecosystem. Through streaming you can play on PC and PlayStation 4 more than 600 games if we pay a flat fee. An interesting service but one that has received criticism for not being a serious alternative to the lack of backward compatibility on PlayStation 4.

A few countries already have the PlayStation Now service but Spain does not currently have it. Various reasons are speculated, such as that they did not see a future for streaming in this country or that the average internet speed was not ideal for the correct operation of the service. Sony has confirmed that Spain is included in the next series of countries that will receive the service in a few months.

We can sign up for the PlayStation Now beta

There are few details about the arrival of PlayStation Now in Spain. It is known that its beta will arrive during the month of February and we can access it through this link. Regarding the final version, there is no planned date beyond a vague "very soon". But if they are already accepting registrations for the beta, the wait should not be more than a few months.

About the catalog, it is known that all the games from the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 title catalog will be available. It is likely that there are certain titles in the catalog that are not available due to possible rights problems.

That is all that is known for now about the arrival of PlayStation Now in Spain. In the best of cases, it will be a good opportunity to play streaming titles on PC or PS4 if it is accompanied by appropriate prices and a stable connection.
