Pokémon Go in August managed to raise 176 million dollars

Important increase in income in Pokémon Go, reaching the figure of 176 million dollars in the past month of August.

The launch of Pokémon Go for Android it was an unprecedented success, mobilizing millions of people. We saw during the summer of 2016 a real madness around this game. After the summer its popularity was decreasing, because the game became boring and the school returned. The summer holidays were over and all the madness seemed to calm down around the game.

Despite all the game, it continues to be very popular among children and not so young. Niantic hit an unprecedented pitch, which seems to be re-emerging. The truth is that the game is far from those times with millions of people playing simultaneously, but it still has its audience.

Pokémon Go's health is still pretty good

Although things are not what they were, according to a report published by SuperData, they have managed to raise 176 million dollars in August. These figures are quite similar to what said game achieved at the time of its launch. Despite the fact that there seems to be a smaller audience than at that time, income seems to be increasing. A really interesting fact that indicates that you are in good health.

Thanks to these revenues, it is the second best month of August since August 2016. It seems that Niantic is getting some of the lost audience back to the game with new content. As usual, in summer the events multiply, taking advantage of the school holidays, which are currently the majority audience.

According to SuperData, not only was it the best month in a long time for Pokémon Go, but it would have led in revenue. It seems that the game has been the one that has generated the most money during August of all those available in the Play Store. Surely until next year such good figures will not be achieved.
