Pokémon Go receives new baits to evolve new Pokémon

Pokémon Go will be updated with new baits to attract more Pokémon and get more evolutions. Thus we will get new evolutions of Eevee, and will also introduce creatures from Sinnoh.

Niantic has published that Pokémon Go will be updated soon with new bait modules, those that are introduced in PokéStops to attract more creatures and that everyone can enjoy. Thus, the game will have a wider range of creatures and will extend the metagame.

More evolutions with the new Bait Modules

As announced, there will soon be new Pokémon from the Sinnoh region available to catch in the wild and they will also begin to hatch from eggs. They will be Cherubi, Gible, Hippopotas and a few more. The Land-Alive attack has also been introduced, a land-type attack that can lower your opponent's defenses in Trainer Battles. Some of the monsters in the Sinnoh region will know that move, while those already present Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Aerodactyl, Camerupt, and Claydol will be able to learn it.

The Glacial Bait Modules, Mossy Bait Module and Magnetic Bait Module have been introduced that will attract different types of Pokémon. They can be obtained in the in-game Store and will be available later as prizes for completing new special research tasks that PokéStops give us. These Bait Modules will attract local creatures as well as other species depending on the type of bait. The Glacial Bait Modules attract those who love the cold, the Mossy Bait Modules will attract those who love to frolic among the leaves, and the Magnetic Bait Modules attract those who are attracted to electromagnetic forces.

Those Modules will allow new evolutions of Pokémon that got new evolutions with the introduction of the Sinnoh region. When you are within range of a PokéStop with an active bait of the appropriate type and spin the Photodisk, the evolution of Magneton and Nosepass will be activated, as well as the Glaceon and Leafeon evolutions of Eevee.
