Pokémon Home, a warehouse for the Pokémon we have captured
Pokémon Home will allow us to pass all the Pokémon of Pokémon GO, Pokémon Bank and the Switch games. From there they can only be sent to the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games.
Some time ago the Pokémon Bank was launched, a service focused on 3DS games that allowed us to make transfers of the Pokémon we have obtained. The goal was to make the games of one generation moveable to the next without too much trouble. Now with Banco Pokémon not working on Switch it was necessary to make it work in the new generation, and that's where Pokémon Home comes from.
Not much has been shown, more than it will be compatible with Pokémon Bank, Pokémon Go, Let's Go games Eevee and Pikachu and the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield. As seen in a graph, it can be seen that all games will be able to send Pokémon to Home, but it seems that everything indicates that only Sword and Shield can receive the Pokémon that are sent.
All your Pokémon in one place
With Pokémon Home, it follows the idea of bringing all the Pokémon you might have owned to future games, but it seemed like the Bank was doomed to not work. Everything points to a last major update to the 3DS Pokémon Bank and then focus efforts on Pokémon Home.
No prices have been specified, but if Pokémon Bank cost two dollars a year, a similar price would not be strange if it simply did not work with Nintendo Online. At the moment it has only been announced for next year, making it not come with the expected departure of Sword and Shield, which is expected for the end of this year. It will be the price and the extra features that will make this service work and we will be attentive to news.
