First images of Sanhock, the new map of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
New map for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has just been announced for part of Bluehole, which will be called Sanhock and will be very small.
The Battle Royale style of play has become very popular within the video game industry, thanks to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which has become the world leader in simultaneous players, with more than three million simultaneous players. Fortnite is another of the games that has taken center stage, but PUBG has some advantage, in terms of players and in terms of maps, since it has two maps and there is a third map, called Sanhok, on the way.
Bluehole has presented the first images of the new Sanhok map, which will be the next map to be implemented in the game, which is already in a first phase of testing, which will end tomorrow, May 14, at noon national time. This third map will be more compact than the current maps. It is characterized by going from an 8 × 8 kilometer format to 4 × 4 kilometers, which will have a tropical appearance. As it seems, several Asian islands in the area of Thailand and the Philippines have been inspired to develop this map.
Miramar, the second map released for this game, has not been particularly popular, so much so that developers have been forced to modify the map to implement more areas to get supplies of weapons and tools. Despite all this map still has very little acceptance and that is why they are finalizing this new map.
It is not known when the map will finally arrive in the game, but it could be this summer, if everything works correctly and there are not many bugs. We assume, that this map implemented some new weapons and new land vehicles, although it does not seem likely that new water vehicles will be implemented.
