Rockstar will rebalance the value of Red Dead Online gold bars

Rockstar has responded to player feedback for the Red Dead Online beta, specifically commenting on how to fix the game's economy.

“Our current areas of focus include the game economy, which will require additional balancing to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun, as well as some persistent bugs that are causing some players to be kicked from sessions.”
Rockstar's decision to focus on this arrangement first is most likely a response from players complaining about the time it can take to earn just one in-game gold bar, which is roughly 8 hours.

Reddit users figured out the math involved, including unavailable user IDs.

“I played for about 4 hours yesterday. You need 100 nuggets to make a gold bar. You get between 0,02 and 0,04 (0,02 gold bars = 2 nuggets) from series (deathmatch, races, etc.) that last 10 minutes each or less,” the Reddit user said.

Rockstar previously detailed that the gold bars will be used to purchase cosmetic items in the Red Dead Online game store, which will also include microtransactions when up and running.

Rockstar said Red Dead Online was developed so that they could get in and make adjustments to the game quickly, indicating that they are listening to player feedback. They plan to get the updates later this week, with more to come next week.

Rockstar released the Red Dead Online beta last week for select players, and all game owners are now allowed to play. Read about the different game modes, including the new battle royale mode with bows, arrows and knives.

In summary, it seems that Rockstar is updating and pampering Red Dead Online to try to make this a better product and that it can generate what GTAV Online has produced today. From here we want that to happen, for now the mode seems fun and varied but not enough to stay long.

I am interested in being a stylized 3D modeler. With that touch that Blizzard or DarkSiders have. I really want to learn more every day and never stop improving.
