Crysis Remastered on Nintendo Switch will have dynamic resolution
Tomorrow the Crysis Remastered will go on sale for the Nintendo Switch, not without being charged with controversy. The game was delayed to improve the graphics quality, as it had deteriorated quite a bit. For that delivery the textures have been improved, the global lighting has been improved and the aiming has been improved. The last we know of is the Switch's FPS rate and resolution.
To achieve a stable 30FPS rate, a system of dynamic resolution. This means that it has been adjusted to limit it to 30FPS and that the resolution oscillates according to the load. Thus the resolution in open areas will be better than in spaces where there are many enemies and crossfire.

The Nintendo Switch is not the paradigm of power and graphic quality, that is something quite obvious. When the console is in the dock the game will move in resolutions 900p and 720p, which is not bad for televisions not too big. When in laptop mode the resolution will change to 720p and 540p.
It is clear that CryTek's priority, at least in the Switch version, is to make cash. We cannot expect much from the platform, as is logical and they will have had to work a lot to bring Crysis Remastered to the Nintendo Switch.
Where there are many uncertainties is in the version for PC and consoles. It is possible that the PC version will finally have Ray Tracing with software, although it is not clear. But it would be desirable to have the ability of Ray Tracing and 4K textures, being at the height of the original game.
Let's remember that Crysis in its day was a game ahead of its time in terms of graphics and gameplay. After so many years it is still capable of overshadowing many modern titles.
