Shenmue III is delayed until November
Shenmue III receives another delay, but this time it is only a few months. It seems that the game is really ending and the wait is going to end.
We have been waiting for years for Shenmue III to be finished. Four years since it was shown at E3 2015 with the opening of the funding campaign on Kickstarter to come out on PlayStation 4 and PC, with more than six million dollars raised among patrons to finish the story of Ryu Hazuki.
Another delay, but it's short
At first they expected it to come out in December 2017 according to the delivery date of the digital keys in the Kickstarter campaign. But as is often the case with bigger and more ambitious projects, they don't really estimate the time it will take, they are very ambitious and want to polish the details instead of firmly meeting the deadline, Kickstarter game that hasn't arrived when He promised himself and Shenmue III wasn't going to be one of them.
In a recent announcement on the Kickstarter page, Yu Suzuki commented that he is going to have to delay Shenmue again. They already suffered numerous delays before, some of more than a whole year. Everything is for the game to come out as well as possible because it has a huge name and legacy to maintain and fulfill, by bringing with it a supposed end to the story of Ryo Hazuki and the magic mirror that has led him to leave home.
The new release date for Shenmue III is November 19, when it was previously planned for an August release. As usual in these cases, Yu Suzuki has said that this additional time will serve to give the best possible experience to patrons who have been waiting for years, and who want this Shenmue installment to be the continuation they have been asking for for years.
