Today we are going with a news of these that are cool and not a little. More and more video game companies support different causes and raise money to support different groups. Humble Bundle is a clear example of this. The last to join the support in a personal way has been the League of Legends title. The mythical LoL had a charity skin to raise money for Play Therapy. It has been a total success, managing to raise more than 73.000, in support of children with cancer.

League of Legends raises € 73.000 for the Juegaterapia Foundation

The Juegaterapia Foundation is a Spanish non-profit organization that seeks to make hospital stays more comfortable for children, especially those who suffer from some type of cancer or complex disease. Riot Games to support the foundation put the Dark Star Cho'Gath skin up for sale within the League of Legends. Thanks to this skin they have managed to raise more than € 73.000.

All the proceeds for Juegaterapia will be invested in the comprehensive renovation of the pediatric wing of the Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid. The project has been called 'El Retiro invades el Niño Jesús'. The idea is to create a much brighter, brighter space with many shades of green that simulate the Retiro Park, also in Madrid. The Foundation also in a statement highlighted that they are "very grateful for having been part of the Riot Games initiative."

This is a clear example of how the world of video games isn't as hostile as some people make it out to be. It's certainly appreciated that a company like Riot Games supports initiatives like Jueagaterapia. If you'd like to support the Foundation, you can find many ways to do so on their website.
