New character from Smash Bros: the protagonist of Minecraft
From what has been seen in the trailer, Steve Minecraft will be accompanied by Alex, Enderman and Zombie as alternate characters in Super Smash bros Ultimate. Some of its mechanics that have been seen in the announcement trailer include using red stone with dynamite, pistons, dynamite and even wagons.
Masahiro Sakurai explained in the presentation video that bringing Minecraft's Steve into Super Smash Bros Ultimate meant that they had to work on the stages so that the blocks the character uses didn't cause collision problems. He was asked to make the character, not by being chosen because it was his favourite or "by picking a piece of paper out of a hat".

Other than this, no further details of the character have been released. As usual, they summon us in a few days to explain more about the character and his setting. They will show us more on October 3, so we will have to wait until this Saturday for us to see the mechanics that Masahiro Sakurai has put to Steve, a character who is simply an avatar; in Super Smash Bros Ultimate for Nintendo Switch. We can only wait until that day for him to show us how to play and what day the wrestler's package will be available, which in addition to the wrestler, includes scenery, music and spirits to get. At least it looks like this pick is more popular than Fire Emblem's Byleth, who is rated as the worst character they could add.
