Tekken 7 to host Negan from The Walking Dead and Julia on February 28

Two new downloadable characters are coming to Tekken 7 next week. After these two characters arrive, the game will receive even more content to keep you going.

The director of Tekken 7 has been able to confirm at the recent EVO Japan event that the last two downloadable characters of the second season pass will arrive next week. These are the classic character Julia with a new design, and Negan from The Walking Dead.

Next week there are more fighters in Tekken 7

With the arrival of Julia and Negan, the second season of Tekken 7 fighters ends. Julia is a classic character from the series that has been appearing since the first PlayStation games. The fans who have been playing with her for years have not been very happy with the omission of the character, but that they have made her as a downloadable character has given them some joy.

The case of Negan from The Walking Dead is very particular. Fans of The Walking Dead will remember that character primarily for how they tried to propel the show's audiences with a cliffhanger. At the end of season six Negan was going to decide which main cast character he was going to kill with his thorn bat named Matilda. The result was a rise in ratings at the beginning of the seventh season that lasted a few weeks. Tekken 7 references that television moment and marketing moment by putting that scene as Negan's own scenario. Of course, he is not the first guest character from other franchises that the game has, since he already has Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, Akuma from Street Fighter and Geese Howard from The King of Fighter.

Katsuhiro Harada has commented that these characters are not the end of support for Tekken 7. He has not been able to confirm that there is a third season of characters for the game but seeing the current trend of keeping fighting games active for years, it is quite likely.
