Dynamic theme for PlayStation 4 free for International Women's Day

A small gift for owners of a PlayStation4 that has the women of PlayStation as protagonists. Its download is free and for everyone.

Today is March 8, International Working Women's Day. Actions are being held all over the world that ask to fight against the invisibility of women and reclaim their space in society. There are all kinds of celebrations and Sony wants to celebrate it with a dynamic theme for its PlayStation 4 that features the female protagonists of its games.

Women, protagonists of a free theme for your PS4

During this day and for an indefinite period of time, Sony has made the Dynamic Theme for International Women's Day 2019 available for download from the PlayStation Network Store. It is designed by Choro Choi, concept artist from Guerrilla Games, creators of Killzone.

Featured in this theme are Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, Ellie from The Last of Us, Kara from Detroit: Become Human, Chloe and Nadine from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Atoi from Tearaway, Freya from God of War, Sackgirl from LittleBigPlanet, Lady Maria de la Torre Astral Bloodborne and Kat from Gravity Rush. And some creatures may appear from the upcoming Media Molecule: Dreams sandbox experience.

For some it will be a nice detail that will add one more to the list of free dynamic themes that they have on their console. Others will use it because one of their favorite characters comes out. For others it is a small vindication on International Women's Day of female characters in video games because many of them are protagonists of their own adventures such as Kat or Aloy and other important pieces of the plot such as Chlo, Nadine and Kara. Claiming the item at the store only takes a few minutes and we'll keep it forever. We can access it by clicking here.
