A new Darksiders will be shown on June 13, at E3 2019

A new installment of the Darksiders games is coming. THQ Nordic promises to show the game on Thursday the 13th at 19:30 PM Spanish time.

The list of announcements for this E3 2019 that starts in nothing is greatly expanded. In addition to the conferences, the E3 Coliseum is planned to take place courtesy of the event, a sample of advertisements and demonstrations of games from the fair that have not had all the space they wanted or deserved. One of those ads will be a new Darksiders.

The THQ Nordic franchise has a new installment, with "a new address"

The portal of the aforementioned E3 Coliseum has updated the schedule of content that it will have. The surprise that many of us have taken is that they are going to announce a new title in the Darksiders series. Specifically, it will be on June 13 at 10:30 in the morning in Los Angeles, which is the seriest and a half in the afternoon in the Iberian Peninsula.

According to the description of the website, it will be a new title that will take the franchise in a new direction. Here we can start to worry because it may be a new game in the saga in name but it is a spinoff to offer a different gameplay to the universe. If it was a reboot, it would be a bit inconsiderate to players who have been following the series since the first installment in 2013 when it was in the hands of the original THQ.

The third installment arrived at the end of last year and showed us the adventures of Fury, after those of Death and War in previous titles. It remains to show the story of the fourth horseman of the apocalypse, which if not told and the franchise undergoes a reboot, will anger many. But it's still too early to speculate, and after finalizing development on Darksiders III late last year, they won't have had much time to make a full-fledged new installment unless it's a minor experiment.
