A peephole in the shape of a red dot for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is worth € 0.5

Cosmetic elements go to the absurd after Activision adds a red dot for the gun sights for € 0.5 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

After the great controversy with the loot boxes, the developers are opting to add different cosmetic elements. These micro-payments can provide an advantage over rivals or not. Fortnite for example only sells character skins and cosmetic elements to customize the avatar. Activision has wanted to go further in the monetization of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. They have added a sight for the weapons in the shape of a red circle. This has a price of 50 COD Points and the minimum amount of these that we can buy is 200 COD Points for 2 euros, therefore the peephole costs 0.5 euros.

Half a euro is what a peephole is worth in the COD: Black Ops 4

Although the price is not a big deal, what it denotes is that anything is worth to get money. Peepholes and different types of sights have always been free, but in this case they charge for bullshit. This opens the door to other objects with very low prices and that if we start adding, they come out for a money.

It all started with the DLC, which were missions or additional maps or weapons, but now it is added to pay for everything. What is still paradigmatic is that all these elements exist because there are people who buy them. We have reached a really absurd point where it seems that anything goes.

Game synopsis

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is the fourth video game in COD's Black Ops saga, which on this occasion is presented as the deepest game in all of Call of Duty history and which focuses on 3 pillars: Multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout, its new battle royale survival mode.

Developed by Treyarch (and Beenox on PC), Black Ops 4 ditches boost jumps and wall-running to focus on more genuine COD gameplay but taken to a new level. New movements, smooth control, non-regenerative health automatically, classes and specialists ...

The news are many, such as that its zombie mode grows to offer 3 different launch modes, and can also play with bots. The new battle royale mode called BlackOut (Blackout) combines the entire history of Black Ops on a giant map, with vehicles and characters seen in the series by land, sea and air. Lastly, the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is exclusive to Battle.net, leaving Steam.
