The Gaming Replay store has set a release date for the new Santa Monica game, God of War, which according to the date of the year would be released on September 14 for Playstation 4. God of War is an exclusive Sony game that was presented in last E3, despite this rumor, it still has no official release date.

It's common for video game stores to update their catalogs with release dates for the most anticipated new titles. Sometimes they do this intentionally, and other times simply as a way to register the game in their system. In the latter case, the release of the new God of War is one of the most anticipated of 2017.

That's why we should take with a grain of salt the possible release date of the new God of War for Playstation 4 that the Gaming Replay store has dropped, which places the expected work of Sony Santa Monica for September 14th of this same year 2017 on the home console.

PlayStation has not commented on this possible release date for God of War, so we'll have to wait for official information to clear things up. It's very likely that we'll get new news about Kratos in the form of a trailer at E3 2017. Most likely, Sony will deny the information about this hypothetical release date posted by the online store in the coming days, until they announce it themselves at the upcoming Los Angeles trade show.

This time, the Spartan hero travels back to before the Viking Age, where he must care for his son and teach him the art of war. Only an 8-minute gameplay demo was shown at E3 2016, where we saw Kratos in combat with his new weapons and training his son to hunt animals. Furthermore, Sony will likely show more footage of this new God of War at its conference this year, scheduled for June 12th at 3:00 AM CEST.
