Valve removes almost all Telltale Games games from Steam due to bankruptcy

Telltale Games titles are being pulled from Steam by Valve after the company filed for bankruptcy and began dismantling.

Video game development studio Telltale Games has gone from high to bankrupt in just a few months. The development company of quite popular video games such as Tales of Monkey Island has been forced to close after going into bankruptcy that it has not been able to get out of. To prevent further sale of games from this study and harm to users, Valve-owned Steam platform has removed Telltale games from the platform.

Steam pulls Telltale games off the platform due to the studio's bankruptcy.

Valve has nothing at all against Telltale and the fact that they withdraw from the platform is that this video game development studio cannot cope with the costs of leaving the games on the platform for online game sales. Tales of Monkey Island, Back to the Future or The Walking Dead are some of the games that have been withdrawn from the platform, preventing them from being purchased, which only deepens the economic problems and the inflow of funds.

Sherwood Partners is the company that will be in charge of the liquidation process of the developer Telltale Games, as published a few days ago. It appears that Valve will only keep The Walking Dead: The Final Season game on Steam. This decision is due to the fact that it has been reported that Skybound will be the company that will be responsible for developing the last remaining episodes of this game.

It is a pity to see the downfall of this study that has had so many successes, but perhaps they have not known how to choose well the franchises to develop or it has simply been bad luck due to the change in the public's interests.
