Several WoW Classic users are reporting items that were in the original WoW as bugs.
There are reports of alleged issues in WoW Classic that have been fixed in future versions of World of Warcraft. Blizzard is not planning to repair them because that is how they were in the original version.
Currently the beta of World of Warcraft Classic is taking place, a version that makes a wayback to a classic version of the MMORPG. It is designed for those players who years ago played during afternoons and think that the current experience is extremely casual to attract new audiences.

Since it's the beta period and they're prioritizing players who originally played the game, it's expected that Blizzard will be very meticulous in how they try to bring back the original experience. The problem arises when users are reporting bugs and inconsistencies between the classic and current versions that were present in the original.
Things like Tauren having higher hitboxes and range than other races, Warrior class regeneration, terrified characters running more, or enemies not respawning as often are things that beta players believe to be bug. But all that was already present in the classic version of World of Warcraft.
What does all this say? Well, mainly, that over time Blizzard has made many changes to Quality of Life to make the experience much more bearable, less heavy and less erratic. So why the clamor for a version of World of Warcraft that plays worse? Here already some assumption enters and it is the nostalgic factor without filters and that comes from an audience that in its day could afford to play for several afternoons to take advantage of the subscription and that Blizzard did not have much competition in games as a service. Over time they saw the enormous problems that World of Warcraft had to maintain users and it may be that without the changes they have made to the game, even fewer people would continue playing today.
