On Friday Kraken cut fees to 0.001 BTC amid pressure from the Bitcoin community

Kraken decides to reduce the commission within cryptocurrency operations, reducing the commission from 0.0025 BTC that they had been charging, to the 0.001 BTC that they have begun to charge since last Friday.

Exchange houses, such as Poloniex, which is the one we use the most, especially to see the value of cryptocurrencies, have a fee, a small percentage that remains from each of the transactions. Within the Bitcoin community there is a certain evil to be around some exchange houses that charge very high rates, affecting the costs of withdrawing capital. Kraken is above all the target of complaints, where until last Friday they had a rate of 0.0025 BTC, which is a very important amount of money.

Currently the price of Bitcoin is clearly on the rise, touching the value of $ 3000, which means that today we would have paid almost $ 8 for each Bitcoin we withdraw. Well, Kraken has reduced the cost of the commission for withdrawing Bitcoin, going to 0.001 BTC. This assumes a price of $ 3 when Bitcoin reaches $ 3000. This is already a more reasonable price and it is that with the increase in the price of Bitcoin and consequently, of the rest of the Altcoin, a restructuring of the commissions was necessary and Kraken has listened to the community, offering a quality solution.

Bitcoin

We are in a market where the present is very good, but we usually analyze the step towards new horizons. Right now the step taken by Kraken is beneficial, but we know that Bitcoin will continue to rise, since it is a dynamic market, so it is interesting to think about what will happen in the future and to know if Kraken will modify its commission again, adjusting it to the price of the Bitcoin The commissions are something normal and here we must say that it is something equitable, since in traditional banking it is a constant theft.

Kraken is the first exchange rate that lowers its commissions, although other exchange rates, such as Poloniex, have variable and not fixed rates like Kraken. Kraken has a standardized cost for every 1 BTC that is withdrawn, while Poloniex establishes a percentage, something that seems more equitable, since you pay according to the amount of money you withdraw and not a fixed amount. They all may end up adjusting commission percentages as cryptocurrencies rise in value.
