Deleting messages
Very recently, the message utility implemented a system to delete sent messages, which allows the user to delete messages if they think they have made a mistake or regret sending the message. As long as the receiving user has not read it, the user who sends it can delete it and the message will never have been sent. We can delete the message, but the application does not guarantee that it has not been read before being deleted.
Chat reading order
Changes in the order in which the different chats are displayed are being studied. These are shown in order of use, or what is the same, the group that has sent a message most recently will have preference. They are studying making a change in the order in which the chats are displayed, making the user of priority to the chats that they consider. The possibility at the moment would be based on three chats, being able to give preference to the three groups of messages, according to the needs.
Offline messages
WhatsApp will offer another option when it comes to sending messages, that of sending messages without having to have a connection at the time it is sent. WhatsApp would send it instantly when the phone recovers the connection, something that is quite comfortable, but that actually already exists today. We imagine that there will be some news in this regard that has not been reflected by WhatsApp.
Data management
It offers a much more intelligent memory management in the area of 'data usage and storage', and to delete conversations or messages from a specific contact or group. This new function will allow us to choose what specific content we want to delete, be it photos, videos, messages or anything else that may consume data or take up space unnecessarily.
Mass sending of files
One of the problems when it comes to sending photos of last night's party to friends is that it is limited to ten photos at a time. This has been modified, being able to send up to thirty images and videos at a single time. It can be very useful to us, but at the same time it can be very uncomfortable in chat groups where we are a lot of people or some contacts who are fond of spam, but for work groups it can be something very useful.
WhatsApp Status
A few weeks ago, the functionality to update the status was implemented in a manner quite similar to that implemented by the SnapChat utility, but WhatsApp after a large number of complaints from users, decided to go back and keep updating status as had been done so far.
