XFX XTi-1000, a power supply of great power and performance

XFX has introduced the new high-end XFX XTi-1000 power supply, a 1000W power supply, which is 80Plus Titanium certified and fully modular.

One of the most attractive markets for manufacturers is that of power supplies, especially high-end ones, important for advanced gaming equipment and mining equipment, where high power and a very high level of reliability are required. XFX has presented the high-end XFX XTi power supplies, which for now will have a single 1000W model, which has been dubbed the XFX XTi-1000. The power supply is characterized by being completely modular, has a low noise fan and an 80Plus Titanium efficiency.

Internally, this power supply has a single + 12V rail, 100% Japanese capacitors, APFCs, and the usual electrical protections such as surge, over / under voltage, overload, overheat and short circuit have been integrated. A fan with 135mm dynamic bearings has been integrated, which will help to cool the power supply when it suffers a rise in temperature. This will normally be off, as it uses 0dB technology, which keeps it off when the load is below 25%. If the load rises between 25-50%, it will go into silent mode, with a loudness of 16dB. After 50%, the speed will increase linearly according to the load.

Regarding the connectors, this power supply has a 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS, of which one is 4 + 4-pin, eight 8-pin PCIe, all being 6 + 2-pin PCIe type, ten SATA connectors for hard drives, six Molex connectors, and one Berg connector. The power supply is compatible with the low-energy technologies of the new AMD Ryzen and Intel Core processors. No pricing or availability has been given, but it will have a five-year warranty.
