Xiaomi: Announces the Mi Gaming Laptop (2019) based on Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics
The Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop (2019) based on 9th Generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA Turing graphics cards is made official.
One of the most emerging markets in the hardware world is that of laptops. There are many companies that are making the leap to this market, including Xiaomi. The company, which started making smartphone, is rapidly expanding into other markets, including laptops. The company has just announced the Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop (2019) which is the third iteration of these laptops.
They have not risked at all in terms of design and hardware, seeking the balance between quality and price. The company has opted for Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics with and without support for RayTracing. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the laptop is that it has six configurable macros and an RGB backlit keyboard.
Announced the Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop (2019)
We start with the monitor, which has a 15.6-inch IPS panel with FullHD resolution (1920 × 1080). This panel offers us a maximum illumination of 300 nits and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Regarding the hardware combinations we can find:
- Intel Core i5-9300H (4 cores / 8 threads @ 2.4 / 4.1GHz) + NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti
- Intel Core i7-9750H (6 cores / 12 threads @ 2.6 / 4.5GHz) + NVIDIA RTX 2060
Xiaomi allows us to choose between 8 / 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz in both combinations. Both have a 512GB NVMe SSD. They implement the “Quick Cooling” cooling system, which are basically two radiators joined by heatpipes in S format with high-speed metal fans.
As we have mentioned, the keyboard is RGB type and has WiFi 802.11ac + Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, in addition to having an Ethernet port. Additionally, it has four USB 3.0 ports and HDMI outputs. It has a thickness of 20.9mm and a weight of 2.7Kg
