The three plants built in India, undoubtedly due to the cost of labor, which is currently lower in cost than China. The plants will be built in collaboration with Foxconn, built specifically on the campus of Sri City, Andhra Pradesh and the new field in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. It should be noted that the company already has a total of six plants in India, where 95% of the smartphones are manufactured, which are sold in that country.

These new PCB manufacturing plants, which will be developed in collaboration with Foxconn, will employ more than 10.000 people, 95% of whom will be women. Xiaomi is one of the most popular brands in the smartphone market in India, with an overall market share of 26.8%.
