Xiaomi presents its first terminal with Android One, Xiaomi Mi A1, without its MIUI customization layer, loved by some and hated by others, a mid-range smartphone with dual cameras.

Just a week ago there was a rumor that Xiaomi had been working with Google in the manufacture of a new terminal. A news that excited the majority of potential Xiaomi mobile buyers, since most of the complaints about the terminals of this Chinese brand are based on software failures. That problem will not be Xiaomi Mi A1, since how much with Android One.

What is Android One?

Android One is basically Android Stock or Android Pure. To make a simile, this Xiaomi Mi A1 will be the Google Pixel of Xiaomi, It will have two-year support from Google and we will have the latest version of Android just a few weeks or days after the Nexus and Pixels.. As we mentioned before, it is something that Xiaomi was very missing, since in terms of updates it is not one of the best brands.

Features of the Xiaomi Mi A1

Regarding design, continue with the metal construction with rounded edges to improve the ergonomics of the terminal. Very similar to the Mi 5X, the current king of the mid-range, on the front we find a panel of 5,5 inches in resolution FullHD (1080 × 1920) with large frames, navigation buttons on the chassis; and in the back, with the fingerprint reader and double camera. In the software, as we already mentioned, it will have the latest from Android. Will be released with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will update to Oreo when it's available before the year is out. It will also feature the next two versions of Android for years to come.

Camera

Following the general trend in the current market, the Xiaomi Mi A1 incorporates a dual main camera, like the iPhone 7 Plus, Galaxy Note 8, OnePlus 5 or Xiaomi Mi 6. Both sensors will have 12 megapixels, but one of them will have a 2x optical zoom. This will be used to take photos with a bokeh effect or blur. According to the company's statements, the Xiaomi Mi A1 would have a better photographic section than the iPhone 7 or the OnePlus 5, something that has yet to be proven.

Availability and price

The country in which it will be launched in the first instance will be India on the day September 12, but Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be available in countries on the other continents. Its price will be about 195 Euros to the change, which makes the Xiaomi Mi A1 the best quality mobile phone on the current market without any doubt.
