Xiaomi: one of the best smartphone and headphone brands of 2023

With the gigantic number of brands available in today's smart market, finding the right one can be a real challenge. Not only because of the number itself, but because the quality of the brands can go up or down over time, so being up to date also becomes essential.

As it would be impossible to talk about all of them, today we bring you one of the ones that has been doing the strongest: Xiaomi. We are going to talk so much about the Xiaomi cell phones as well as its headphones, although the company also has other smart products.

But before talking about one type of equipment or the other, we want to make an introduction about what makes Xiaomi so important.

Xiaomi

Among the many and very different brands, Xiaomi Cellular is perhaps one of the ones that has had the most impact in relation to the short time it has been in circulation on the market. Although today it is among the most popular and trusted brands by users around the world, some might be surprised to know that it is just over ten years old.

However, since its beginnings it has managed to make a strong change in the world of smartphones. This happened with the launch of its first model, the Xiaomi Redmi, in the early 2010s.

El Redmi cell phone It was a big change. In these years, as some may well remember, the economic ranges were not what they are today. For the most part, this was made up of equipment that was not much more than a block of plastic.

We are talking about slow equipment, with a rather run-down design and, despite its size and weight, quite fragile. The thing was that at that time most of the big brands put all their efforts into high-end smartphones, leaving the budget range quite neglected.

We can also partly explain this if we take into account that in these years there were still quite a few old models of non-smart phones circulating, so there were quite a few companies that preferred not to bet on bringing this technology at a more affordable price.

This is where Xiaomi comes in, its first model managed to bring a product that greatly surpassed almost all of its competitors.

From the design to its many technologies, the  Xiaomi Redmi It prevailed among the others and managed to push the bar of the ecological range upwards.

Most important features when buying a smartphone

Beyond the brands, there are some characteristics that can tell us a lot about the team's performance. Let's try to show them and apply them quickly.

  •  Speed: Speed depends on the processor and RAM. Although processor quality can be difficult to measure quickly, RAM is clearer. With 4 GB we have xiaomi cell phones fast for everyday tasks. But the more the better
  • Screen: Screen technology is important here. The best on the market is AMOLED, while the different LED versions also appear solid.
  • Battery: We don't think we have to explain the importance of the battery, so we will limit ourselves to saying that its capacity is measured in milliamps (mAh) and around 5500 mAh should last for a day and a half. The fast charging option is also welcome.

What do you need to know to buy wireless headphones?

Although most people have a basic idea of what to look for when purchasing smart phones, in the case of Xiaomi headphones the thing is more difficult. Beyond general things like the brand, it's not unusual for people to buy based only on which ones they think are prettier.

However, there are a whole series of technical specifications that can be extremely useful when it comes to knowing what we are buying. We will try to explain them in simple words, without going into too much detail.

First we have those characteristics that are important for audio quality. Among them, the most fundamental is the frequency range of the Xiaomi wireless headphones. Broadly speaking, this tells us the highest and lowest sounds that the device can reproduce. This is measured with two Hz values, the first being the lowest (low sounds) and the second being the highest (high sounds).

Generally, the second will appear in kHz, which means it is 1000 Hz. For example, a good frequency range might be 20Hz to 20kHz, that is, 20 Hz to 20000Hz. The lower the first number, the better the bass will be heard, the higher the second, the better the treble.
