YouTube would be going through some problems that would make it difficult to load videos and play them.

Some days ago something did not work well on YouTube. After yesterday many of you reported problems with the last video that we have uploaded to the channel, we are forced to report some things that would not be working as it should. The first thing to say is that the problems detected would spread to more YouTube channels and not only would we suffer. The reasons are not known, but we can guess the reasons.

We have currently detected that all channels are experiencing problems in terms of counting and sampling visits. Public statistics differ from what we can see internally in a video. We have detected videos that publicly had 1300 reproductions while internally, from our panel they marked more than 2000 reproductions. This is happening in all the videos of all the channels. The reason is totally unknown.

What most caught our attention was when we uploaded a new video to the channel yesterday, which took about an hour to upload. You can see the video on the channel, it is not long, since it lasts little more than eight minutes and the weight of the file was not one of the largest, but it took an hour to finish the upload. Loading was much slower than usual. After being published by some users on the channel and on YouTube, they reported that they could not see the video.

Perhaps the arrival of YouTube Gaming has something to do with it, where all the videos about gameplays are concentrated or it could even be that the owner of the channel can like the comments or highlight them, which is one of the factors that is causing problems. Whatever the reason, the reality is that when there is a change on YouTube, something starts to malfunction. Something similar happened when YouTube's design was changed from stars to likes and dislikes.
