Low Cost Office Budget

As we seek to offer a budget for a 'low cost' and compact type of office, we have opted for an Intel NUC. This is based on a Pentium Silver J5005 with 4 cores and 4 threads, working at 1.5GHz and goes up to 2.8GHz in Boost mode. It has 4MB of L3 cache and integrates the UHD Graphics 605 iGPU that reaches up to 800MHz.

Regarding connectivity, it has two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a microphone / headphone jack on the front. It has an SD card reader on one side. Also on the back it has two other USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two HDMI, a headphone jack and an Ethernet port. In addition, this system offers us WiFi 802.11b / g / n connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0

This Intel NUC system offers us support for DDR4 RAM in SO-DIMM format. We have looked for the cheapest option and it is this Crucial 4GB memory that works at a frequency of 2666MHz. We have put a single module, but we can choose two modules, since they are cheap and we have a Dual Channel configuration. Note that this NUC supports up to 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM

Normally, an office usually handles quite light files and does not usually require much space. Kingston A400 units are the best value for money, being extremely economical. This unit offers us 120GB of space and a much higher performance than conventional mechanical hard drives.

Since we wanted it to include everything, we also added a monitor, the simplest we have come across with HDMI. This monitor is characterized by offering resolution 1920 × 1080 pixels with dimensions of 21.5 ″. Note that this monitor has an IPS panel with a 178º viewing angle.

Seeking to offer the most economical solution for office automation with everything possible, we have opted for this keyboard and mouse combo. They are from the Trust Office range and are a great solution that is liquid resistant.
