Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, also charges against Facebook for the Cambridge Analytica scandal

Now it is Tim Cook, who lashes out at Facebook for the Cambridge Analytica scandal, ensuring that Apple is very concerned about the lack of privacy and security.

The largest data theft in history, perpetrated by Cambridge Analytica, has been a real scandal. The company was made with data from more than 50 million Facebook users in the United States and that has caused the value of the company to suffer and not exactly little. Mark Zuckerberg spoke a few days ago about what happened, but he has not apologized, he has simply commented that more regulation and little else is needed.

Criticisms from personalities in the technology industry have not been long in coming. Elon Musk a few days ago announced the closure of the Tesla and SpaceX pages on the social network and now it has been Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple, who has spoken about it and has called for a much stricter regulation regarding the use of personal data on social networks.

Interestingly, Apple has always been one of the biggest advocates of privacy and now demands much more security after the Cambridge Analytica data theft came to light. Cook e has spoken within the China Development Forum, who has said that personal data regulations are necessary and that it must be 'well crafted' in the wake of Facebook's latest privacy crisis. Cook says the ability to learn 'every intimate detail of his life' through the history of the internet and contacts, 'should not exist'

Apple says it is concerned about this privacy violation and has been for a long time. They see that people give up information without understanding what they are doing and that what companies are doing is repeatedly violating people's privacy.

Facebook needs permission from the FTC since 2011 to collect and share the data. This rule is not a global regulation and in addition, the FTC is now investigating the Cambridge Analytica incident, as it would violate the 2011 decree.
