Cybertruck is the new electric vehicle proposal presented by Elon Musk

Presented by Elon Musk the Cybertruck electric vehicle, an off-road electric pickup that will be resistant to all types of impacts.
One of the most anticipated games in recent years and that will arrive next year is Cyberpunk 2077. The game is based on a future where robots coexist with us. The Tesla Cybertruck vehicle, a highly futuristic car, seems to be taken from this game. This car looks like something out of Black Mirror, specifically it seems inspired by Metalhead, the robots that are so scary in the series.
Elon Musk has presented the Tesla Cyberpunk, who before presenting it has said "it is not like anything we have seen before". We have before us a pretty beast electric vehicle with a design never seen before. It highlights the straight and aggressive lines, which comes to break the mold with the designs of pickups, which have not been reimagined for 100 years.
Tesla Cyberpunk, a very different electric pickup
Musk presents us with a different electric vehicle in terms of design, but also in terms of performance. It will come in versions, differentiated by its engine and it is that you can choose one, two and up to three engines. Each one will offer us quite different benefits.
AUTONOMY | ACCELERATION (0 TO 96,5 KM / H) | MAXIMUM SPEED | LOADING CAPACITY | TOWING CAPACITY | PRICE | |
| SINGLE AWD ENGINE | + 402 km | 6,5 sec | 177 km/h | 1,59 tonnes | 3,4 tonnes | $39.900 |
| DUAL AWD ENGINE | + 483 km | 4,5 sec | 193 km/h | 1,59 tonnes | 4,5 tonnes | $49.900 |
| TRI-ENGINE AWD | + 805 km | 2,9 sec | 210 km/h | 1,59 tonnes | 6,3 tonnes | $69.900 |
A tank converted into a pickup
Before us we have an electric vehicle very different from what we are used to. Its first brutal feature is its 'Exoskeleton', an exterior structure created from stainless steel. Specifically, we have a 30X Ultra-Hard cold rolled stainless steel structure. It offers a high resistance to shocks, which prevents dents and corrosion, providing safety to the occupants.
The biggest drawback of this vehicle are the windows. These are supposedly based on 'Tesla Armor Glass', a high-strength glass based on several layers of polymer. It should be able to absorb and redirect the force of an impact, thus offering improved resistance to avoid damage.
The 'Exoskeleton' structure was struck with a mallet without suffering the slightest damage and without scratches. The problem came with the 'Armor Glass'. During the demonstration, metal balls were thrown at him, causing the glass to break. Theoretically, it should not have been damaged, but in the two impacts the glass ended up shattered. This generated the confusion of the assistants and a lot of jokes.
Musk highlights that the idea of creating it came 7 years ago with the intention of redesigning one of the best-selling types of vehicles in the United States.
Unstoppable mole on wheels
Cybertruck offers the capacity of six passengers and on top the part of the suitcase has the capacity to support a mattress of 2 meters. The cargo area has been called 'the vault', which is multifunctional. It has a folding cover and inside it even hides a ramp. It is designed to raise vehicles with wheels.
Tesla has created this pickup with an adaptive air suspension. By means of this type of suspension this vehicle can withstand large loads and any type of terrain. What's more, Musk says this electric vehicle is off-road.
Inside the vehicle we will only find a touch screen, as it already happens in the Model 3. Through the screen we can control different aspects of the Cybertruck vehicle. The steering wheel stands out, which has been completely redesigned, moving away from the usual circular design. They have created a steering wheel that is more like a Formula 1 steering wheel than a conventional one.
To make matters worse, Cybertruck has been developed to withstand all kinds of outdoor tasks. Even the vehicle supports trailers and even has 110 / 230V plugs to connect tools or devices. A compressor is also attached to inflate the tires, if necessary.
Being a Tesla vehicle, among others, the company will offer technologies such as Autopilot and even full autonomous driving capability. It will also support Smart Summon, Autopark and fast charging for more than 250kW through the Superchargers network.
When can we buy it?
Tesla Cybertruck will initially only be available in the United States and will arrive at the end of 2021. Initially it will arrive in Single and Dual Motor versions, and in 2022 the Tri Motor version will arrive. Production will begin during the first half of 2021 and can now be reserved on the Tesla website for only $ 100. Delivery dates for outside of the United States have not been disclosed.
