New MSI Optix G242 gaming monitor announced

The truth is that this monitor is not very spectacular in terms of specifications. The MSI Optix G242 is a 24-inch monitor with a 1080p resolution.

This monitor is based on a 60.5cm diagonal IPS panel, offering good color quality. It offers us a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1ms.

This monitor offers us a maximum brightness of 250 nits and a static contrast of 1000: 1. Covers 127% of the sRGB color gamut and 94.6% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Regarding the foot of this monitor, it offers us an inclination capacity of -5º to + 20º. We can remove the foot if we want, since this monitor offers VESA 100 support.

It integrates two HDMI 1.4 connectors and two DiplayPort 1.2a connectors, as well as a headphone jack connector.

At the moment we do not have a price or release date for the MSI Optix G242.
