Intel Core i5-10300H is 11% more powerful than Core i5-9300H

Intel's strategy this year with processors will be to stick with it as best it can. The 10nm processors are still only for laptops at the moment, while 14nm is maintained for desktops. Now the Core i5-10300H processor benchmark has been leaked which will be based on a very refined 14nm. These more powerful laptop processors will arrive later this year.
Highlight that this week Intel has submitted the accounts, with record revenue. The company has highlighted that more than 50% of revenues come from the consumer segment and more than 30% from the Data Center segment. This is mainly due to the fact that the company has a strong demand for processors, exceeding its production capacity.

Intel Core i5-10300H benchmark leaked
This Core i5-10300H will arrive to replace the Core i5-9300H processor, counting the two processors with 4 cores and 8 threads. The two processors have a total of 8MB of cache and a TDP of 45W. The difference is that the Core i5-10300H works at 2.5GHz and in Boost mode it reaches 4.3GHz. On the other hand, the Core i5-9300H works at 2.4GHz and in Boost mode it reaches 4.1GHz.
In addition, this Core i5-10300H processor offers up to 4MHz DDR3200 memory controller, something that benefits you. Regarding the iGPU, it also makes use of the HD 630 and benefits from the improvement in the frequency of the RAM.
Regarding the performance in Cinebench R20, the Core i5-10300H offers a result of 1924 points. The Core i5-9300H processor offers a result of 1730 points. As we can see, the difference between both processors is approximately 10%. The memory controller improvement could also play a role in performance improvement.
Although the performance improvement for these notebook processors is very good, it is not enough to compete with AMD. Note that the Ryzen 4000 with Zen2 @ 7nm architecture will arrive with 8 cores and 16 threads.
