WhatsApp is half down, preventing you from sending files
For a few hours it seems that the WhatsApp messaging application is not working properly. Apparently the service allows sending text messages with certain normality, but it does not allow sending photos or audios. Users are showing the problems on social media like Twitter. It is possible that in the next few hours everything will return to normal and the problem will not go away.
Users are reporting that since approximately 12:00 in Spain they cannot send files. An incident that seems to be at the European level, at least and that is running like wildfire on Twitter. Through the hashtag WhatsAppDown, users are reporting the problem, being Spain the country with the least problems according to Down detector.

WhatsApp is half down
We periodically see how the messaging services of the Facebook-owned tool have problems. This application moves a large volume of data and a problem in one of its systems can end in a massive crash.
As is usual in this type of incident, we are all in the dark, since explanations are not usually given. Facebook, like other services, does not provide explanations for the reason for the crash or when the service is fully operational again. A very regrettable practice and one that these companies should correct.
At the moment there are alternatives such as Line, Telegram or WeChat, although it may be that not all our contacts have these applications. If it is something urgent, smartphones have a function, perhaps more unknown, which is to make calls to other terminals. This technology allows two users to communicate by voice without the need for applications. A truly revolutionary technology.
Jokes aside, it would be best to stop using WhatsApp, an application controlled by Facebook. We all know about the manipulations and sale of private information that Mark Zuckerberg's company does. There are better and safer alternatives as Telegram.
