The next Assassin's Creed will be Infinity and will arrive in 2024

Assassin's Creed Infinity is the name that the next installment of the franchise will have. Of course, it will not arrive until at least 2024.

Years ago Ubisoft saw that it was not very profitable to release a new installment of Assassin's Creed every year and began to put a few years in between waiting. This is how Assassin's Creed Origins came out, followed by Odyssey and a year in between until reaching Valhalla. Now the next one won't come out until at least 2024 and will be a live service.

Assassin's Creed rests and becomes live service as Destiny

It all started as a leak by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, and apparently, before her Ubisoft has decided to announce the game even though it is in a very early stage of development. So early that it won't be released until 2024, and it could be delayed until 2025 or 2026.

Hopefully in the meantime, they are regularly updating Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which has already seen a second season of content on the Ubisoft stream on the E3. Another highlight of Assassin's Creed Infinity is that it is expected to be a live game project, but there aren't many details. It could have MMORPG components or be a free to play with which to have regular expansions the size of full games being a central content platform like Destiny 2.

It's no wonder Ubisoft wants one of its biggest series to go down this path with Assassin's Creed Infinity. They already commented that they hope to make more titles that are a huge platform of regular content and game seasons to segment less communities, take advantage of the increasingly long development times and be able to get more content on a regular basis. Now we only have to wait until the year 2024 approaches, which will be when they show everything they have prepared for the most ambitious delivery of Assassin's Creed.
