NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Launch Event

NVIDIA has an event for 3:00 AM where the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti will be presented and we will experience it live, with you, the brave ones.

Without a doubt, AMD will be the great polarizer at CES 2017 with its AMD Zen processors and the AMD Ryzen processor and also with, who knows, if an RX 490 graphics card with VEGA GPUs or a complete family of VEGA-based graphics cards with HBM2 memories. Before this, we have the NVIDIA event, where the GTX 1080 Ti will be presented. During the early morning in Spain it will be when we see the expected GTX 1080Ti and we, as brave, will be there to see it, because, #DormirEsDeCobardes.

We have rather little data, but without a doubt it will be a very beastly graphics that NVIDIA presents and it must be between the Titan X and the GTX 1080. We know that it will have a GP102 GPU, which is manufactured with a 16nm FinFET architecture . It will have 3328 CUDA Cores, since NVIDIA has disabled four of the thirty Streaming Multiprocessors of the GPU itself, so that it is below the Titan X Pascal, which has 3584 CUDA Cores. This graphics card will also have 208 TMUs and 96 ROPs.

This graphics card will be working at a base frequency of 1503MHz and a Boost frequency of 1623MHz and will have no less than 10GB of GDDR5X memory with a 384-bit interface, which provides a floating point power of 10.8TFLOPs and attention, it will have a consumption of about 250W, which will require power supplies of at least 750W (always with 80Plus Bronze certification at least) and will be powered by two 8 + 6-pin PCIe connectors. We suppose that it reached the market for about € 1000, since in price it should also be between the GTX 1080 and the Titan X

We have already prepared a few liters of coffee, we have a few cans of energy drinks and a few bars of chocolate, because the night is going to be long. Let's go brave.
