Filtered serial fans of AMD Ryzen processors

Filtered the fans that AMD will offer as standard for AMD Ryzen processors, which, according to information, could even have RGB LED lighting.

The leaks continue based on the new AMD Ryzen processors, which according to the data, go on the market in seventeen days, specifically on February 28. One of the big questions is the necessary cooling for these processors, since we do not know the consumption and the temperature that they will reach. According to the information we have, those with the letter 'X' in their names will be the ones with automatic overclocking or XFR and the better the cooling, the more power they will offer.

The President of AMD and CEO, Lisa Su, has agreed that Ryzen will arrive at the beginning of March, being shuffled on March 2 for the conference at the Game Developer Conference and on February 28 is a speculation that a few days ago runs through the net. We know the prices of the new processors and the names of the seventeen versions of the processors that will hit the market. The different chipsets to be used and their technical characteristics have been revealed. We already know almost everything about these processors, but some data is still missing.

Heatsinks as standard

Now the heatsinks that AMD will include with the processors have been revealed. We see that there are two new heatsinks for the processors, making up a total of three, the third being the Wraith heatsink, which was introduced last year. The first, the one that looks more compact, offers support up to a maximum TDP of 65W, while the second supports a maximum TDP of 95W. The third is the most powerful and will go to processors with the letter 'X' in the name like the R7 1800X and the R7 1700X.

Raja Koduri, Chief Graphics Architect, appears in a photo that apparently reveals at least one of the heatsinks with LED lighting. This would have RGB lighting, since it looks purple or pink, which logically is not the corporate color of AMD, which as we know is red. According to the presentation, the smaller heatsinks would have a 92mm fan, the same as the Wraith heatsink, which is very interesting. This new heatsink aims to be simpler and less noisy than other versions.

The Wraith features four copper heatpipes, a heat conducting base superior to any other heatsink that supports similar TDPs, and a quieter, relatively larger and more efficient fan than previous versions of stock AMD heatsinks. Due to the characteristics it could be a market heatsink and not a stock heatsink, since it would even be illuminated by RGB LEDs.
