ASUS GTX 1660 Ti EVO, three new models of gaming graphics

The new ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti EVO graphics cards are announced, which will have three different versions and a major dual-fan heatsink.

Users are waiting for the arrival of AMD Navi graphics to compete with the NVIDIA Turing architecture. We have in the market the GeForce RTX with Tensor Cores and RT Cores for RayTracing and DLSS. We also have the GeForce GTX 16 Series that have partial support for RayTracing by not having RT Cores or Tensor Cores. It seems unlikely that new Turing silicons will arrive, but not all the reviews of these charts are on the market yet. Now ASUS has introduced the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti EVO, which will come in three versions.

These three models are 242x130x53mm in size, making them compatible with practically any chassis on the market. All three models have the same heatsink, which has two 80mm fans. All these models have a TDP of 120W, so we can power it without problems using a 450W power supply. Perhaps the most negative part is the thickness of these graphics, which occupies practically three PCIe slots.

The GTX 1660 Ti EVO Dual will be the simplest version and will work at a base frequency of 1500MHz and in Boost mode it would reach 1800MHz. We go to the GTX 1660 Ti EVO Dual Advanced with a base frequency of 1500MHz and in Boost mode it will reach 1815MHz. The latest model is the GTX 1660 Ti Dual OC, it will work at a base frequency of 1500MHz and in Boost mode it will reach 1875MHz.

As video outputs we find that it has a DVI-D, two HDMI 2.0b and a DisplayPort 1.4. Pricing for these graphics cards has not been disclosed, though they should be some of the cheapest. They should hit the market shortly.
