Leaks continue to surface regarding Intel's Comet Lake-S processors , which have been circulating for months. We already know everything about these processors, including their prices, but we still need to know when they will hit the market. The launch date is unknown, but in the meantime, we're seeing things, such as the leak of several benchmarks. This particular leak dates back to March 30th, before April Fools' Day.
This benchmark filtration of several Comet Lake-S must be taken with a grain of salt. We are talking about engineering samples with frequencies lower than the market end. Additionally it appears that the motherboard BIOSes would still be quite green. They are simply an approximation of the final product, which still arrives at the end of this month and at the end of the year, at this rate.

Comet Lake-S processors have been tested on a DELL OEM motherboard with the B460 chipset. These processors were accompanied by 16GB of RAM @ 2666MHz and the Windows 10 1909 operating system. In addition, it is indicated in the leak that there are no drivers for the UHD 730 iGPU, but that they can be installed by brute force.
As if that were not enough, all the nonsense around these processors, CPU-Z marks the socket as LGA1159, but the official name is LGA1200. Note that there have already been rumors about the LGA1159 socket, but that Intel denied a few months ago, perhaps that leak will be sold from here.
We will leave you all the benchmarks and data at the end of the post, but we must not lose sight of reality. And the reality is that the consumption of these processors will be crazy, considering that the TDP reaches 125W. There is talk of consumption of 300W for the 10-core processor, something that reduces their competitiveness. It is still better to buy AMD Ryzen processors.
