NVIDIA cuts RTX 2060 Founder Edition down to $ 299

During CES 2020, we saw many new products, including the AMD RX 5600 XT , a graphics card designed for 1080p gaming. This new graphics card is expected to launch next week, and NVIDIA has prepared for the release. Jen-Hsun Huang's company has focused on cutting the price of the RTX 2060. The Founders Edition model will now be priced at $299.

NVIDIA currently has a dominant position in the market that AMD is sneaking into. AMD's offering ranges from low-end to mid-range, represented by the RTX 2070 Super. AMD is expected to launch Big Navi in the coming months, which will compete with RTX Turing graphics.

NVIDIA cuts the price of the RTX 2060

Clearly the move to downgrade the RTX 2060 is due to the RX 5600 XT coming out shortly. The AMD graphics will be launched at a price of $ 279, the same I expect as the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti. At the moment we only know the lowering of the RTX 2060, but we do not know anything about the GTX 1660 Ti. Logic says that the company could lower the price of this graphics card, although the decision has not been made.

Performance aside, which is always system and game dependent, the AMD Navi are great news. We see that due to these graphics NVIDIA is adjusting the price of its graphics cards. And is that one of the biggest criticisms of GeForce graphics is the price of them.

The information on the RTX 2060 price cut is not official, since the company has not said anything. The price adjustment of the NVIDIA Founders Edition model, possibly, dragged the models customized by the manufacturers.
