Filtered several synthetic benchmarks of the AMD Radeon VII graphics card that show a graphics capable of competing with the NVIDIA RTX 2080
The AMD keynote at CES 2019 left us the AMD Radeon VII as the biggest novelty. This new gaming graphics card is a solution developed by AMD to compete with NVIDIA graphics. During the presentation it was highlighted that it had a performance quite similar to that of the RTX 2080. Little else we have known about this graphics card, which should hit the market on February 7.
AMD Radeon VII Benchmark in 3DMark
It is becoming quite common for APISAK to benchmark different graphics cards. Its leaks are usually very accurate and this is why it has earned a certain reputation. This morning has given performance data of the Radeon VII under the 3DMark in its different versions. Specifically, it has given the graphical scores in the Fire Strike, Fire Strike Extreme, Fire Strike Ultra and Time Spy.
As we can see, this new graph has given 27.400 points in the Fire Strike, 13.400 points in the Fire Strike Extreme, 6.800 in the Fire Strike Ultra and 8.700 in the Time Spy. Some results that seem quite promising and that show an interesting potential from this graph. It is true that these are synthetic benchmarks and the movie can change a lot when we see the benchmarks in games, which is the interesting thing.
We remember that AMD's Radeon VII will be launched on February 7 and it is foreseeable that in the next few days we will see leaks. The price of this graph will be 699 dollars, which at the change with taxes would be about 750 euros. As we already know, the price of this graphic is inflated because the 16GB HBM2 have a price of almost 300 euros.
