The Intel H370, B360 and H310 chipsets are seen, for the Coffee Lake processors

Leaked the first motherboards with Intel H370, B360 and H310 chipset, for Coffee Lake processors and that aim to offer alternatives to users, beyond the expensive Z370, which can currently be found.

We have been hearing different information about new Intel motherboards for some time, in this case special for Coffee Lake processors. These new motherboards are based on the H370, B360 and H310 chipsets. The idea of these chipsets is to offer other economic solutions to those interested in installing a Coffee Lake processor, since currently we can only find the Z370, designed for K-Series processors and gamers who want to overclock. Now ASRock and Gigabyte ATX and ITX motherboards with these new chipsets have been seen in some Asian retailers.

Right now, whether we choose a Core i3 or a Core i7, we have to go die to a Z370, because there are no more solutions and those with a 200 Series Chipset are not compatible. Logically for a Core i3, a motherboard of € 200-300, is an aberration, that is why these new motherboards will be a solution for users who do not want so many trifles, only a motherboard, a processor and at most, a graphics input, for multimedia and gaming and little else.

On the H370 and B360 motherboards, we should expect a cut in performance with respect to the Z370, but not too much and they would be similar in characteristics and performance to the H370 and B250 of the Kaby Lake processors. The H370 will support up to 20 PCIe lanes per chipset and eight native USB 3.0 ports, while in the B360, we will have only 12 PCIe lanes and six native USB 3.0 ports. The normal thing is that the B360 plates, as it happens with the B250, do not have the ability to create RAID configurations of any kind.

Most ATX H370 motherboards have two PCIe x16 ports and two M.2 slots, although this data can change at any time and there may be some kind of error. The most interesting are ITX, which are usually very inexpensive and a solution for entry gamers and those looking for a computer for office automation, since they provide compact and economical solutions.
