Overwatch 2 will have its beta PVP in April

After a long time in silence about Overwatch 2, it seems that Activision Blizzard is finally shedding some light on the game. One of the reasons it's been so late is switching to a new engine that allows the most ambitious vision of the game to become a reality, along with numerous changes to make the game more interesting for all types of players. Years after its announcement, In a few weeks there will be an Overwatch 2 PVP multiplayer beta.

They ask us yes or yes have Battle.net activated and an active account, and most likely they will give priority to those who played the most hours of the original Overwatch. Although the beta is possibly more focused on testing the game, the engine, the maps, the characters and more to make the necessary changes.

Overwatch 2 will start a beta next month

They have announced that this beta will show the new 5v5 game mode, a change from the 6v6 of the original game. Most likely it was because they saw that the most optimal victory strategy was for teams to have three healers and three tanks so that almost any strategy was unworkable, and forcing users to be two DPS, two healers and two tanks was a inconvenient for both casual users and professional gamers.

It will be the first time that the new hero Sojourn will be playable, and there will be reworks of the characters of Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra. These four were heavily criticized because they slow down the game progress, stun for a long time or prevent you from using abilities for a considerable part of the game. Blizzard has spent years working on ways to make the more complex heroes no longer have so much power over the simpler ones, so the heroes we meet there will be very different heroes than those we've played for years.

There will be four new maps, two of which will have a new game mode, and a new ping system. All this is what the Overwatch 2 beta focused on PVP should offer. Doesn't mean the game will be out soon Well, it still does not have a magazine release date, not even a specific year, and there have been many problems in development.
