DOOM Eternal is by its very nature a fast-paced FPS, which can be very difficult, complicated and overwhelming for many players, especially for those nostalgic who remember the simplicity of the original DOOM from 1993. In the current brainwave study, participants played the DOOM Eternal campaign for two hours. The measured brain waves of the participants showed 65% lower activity levels and 80% higher positive mood in the group that used PLITCH cheat codes compared to the control group that played without external assistance. Overall, it was found with 97,1% confidence that the group using PLITCH codes was significantly more satisfied and less stressed.
This new brainwave study claims that using cheats can provide relaxation even in hectic and brutal FPS games like DOOM Eternal.
