Overwatch will host Baptiste, their new hero, next Tuesday
One more hero for Overwatch this Thursday. It has already passed through the Public Trials Realm and is expected to be more balanced and healers to have more combat options.
A few weeks ago they announced a new hero for Overwatch. His name is Baptiste and he is a war medic who in the game will allow him to heal his companions while having a certain attack role. This character is ideal for the current Overwatch metagame where people don't usually want to be a healer with characters like Mercy and Ana.
How is Baptiste from Overwatch
Players of the Blizzard shooter may be wondering how Baptiste will perform as soon as it hits public servers this Tuesday in all its versions. PC gamers who wanted to give it a try have had time to experiment with it in the Public Test Realm, in a slightly unbalanced version and without being able to transfer their progress to the normal server.
Baptiste will have a primary weapon that fires rounds of bullets while his secondary shot launches biotic grenades that can heal allies and damage opponents. He has a passive ability that allows him to jump very high, giving him a lot of maneuverability to move around and flee from combat when needed. It will be able to activate a field of immortality with which allies within its area of effect will not be able to die, but enemies will be able to destroy the generator as they can with Orisa's boost.
Lastly, Baptiste's ultimate ability creates a barrier that allows bullets and healing grenades to pass through. If you attack through that barrier, the bullets will do more damage to your enemies and heal your allies more, which can help a lot in a coordinated team when it comes to defending a territory.
